Learn more about our great International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light (IMPRS), what it's like working at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL) doing your Master's degree or PhD and how the team at MPL support you in the new IMPRS movie.

For 17 years our International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light (IMPRS-PL) offers an interdisciplinary graduate program for MSc and PhD students from all over the world. Stipends for MSc students are offered to excellent, international and national students, as well as an additional curriculum, which aims to create interdisciplinary networks and insights into skills and domains that enhance the careers of our IMPRS students.

Research topics include quantum optics, quantum technologies, nonlinear optics, biophotonics, nanooptics, integrated photonics, artificial intelligence, optomechanics, machine learning and many more.
