New paper in Optica Quantum

Detecting an eavesdropper in a quantum channel is essential in a quantum key distribution system. Sender Alice and receiver Bob (or all other involved personalities and end points) can rely on very high standards of security proofs to make a quantum channel nearly entirely secure. However, if an eavesdropper has been detected, how to find the weak point in the quantum channel? In our recent paper in Optica Quantum, we use distributed and localized acoustic waves to detect a piracy attack. This is a collaboration of our group and the Christoph Marquardt Research Group at FAU. If you are interested in working with us on this topic, please contact us!

Congrats Dr. Alexandra Popp on this nice result!
