My research focuses on the light matter interaction of single quantum emitters with plasmonic nanoantennas. In the laboratory, we use scanning near-field optical microscopes to control the coupling of an emitter to a nanoantenna with nanometer precision. Our goal is to enhance the spontaneous emission rate and achieve coherent coupling at room temperature.
