My research interests focus on characterizing individual protein molecules using interferometric scattering microscopy and investigating the interaction dynamics between proteins and other key biomolecules in vivo. My goal is to uncover the behavioral characteristics of proteins at the single-molecule level, providing meaningful insights to advance biomedical research.

Wang Li completed his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at Hunan University of Chinese Medicine (2013–2017) and his Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis at China Pharmaceutical University (2017–2020). During his Master's studies, he focused on developing microfluidic-based fluorescent sensing devices. He later pursued his doctoral studies at Nanjing University, where he specialized in single-molecule analysis of proteins using nanopore technology and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy. In 2025, Wang joined Prof. Vahid Sandoghdar's group at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL) in Erlangen as a postdoctoral researcher, focusing on developing single-molecule optical techniques for biomolecular characterization.
