I studied Bachelor and Master in Physics at the Technical Universities in Chemnitz and Dresden. I mainly focused on nonlinear optics and atomic force microscopy. Afterwards, I joined the group of Prof. Sandoghdar at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light to do my PhD in the field of biophysics and microscopy.
