In my project I have experimentally explored the coherent backaction of a single molecule on a plasmonic nanoparticle at cryogenic temperatures.
Additionally, I developed a novel specrtroscopic method to measure ground state vibrational linewidths of a single molecule with high resolution. Using this method, I aim to investigate the coupling properties of single molecules to mechanical degrees of freedom in different environments.
