The Stiller RG group packed their suitcases this week and travelled to Hannover for the inauguration of Birgit Stiller. The lecture gave a fantastic overview over the groups work and we celebrated with our new “1. FG Stiller” scarfs and a big buffet. Additionally, we got a tour through the construction site of the new OPTICUM in Hannover and saw our future labs. 

On the following day we got the opportunity to visit the fiber drawing facilities of the “HITec – Hannover Institute of Technology” and see their Einstein-Elevator in action.
