The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) Physics of Light, established at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL), announces this year’s call for student positions.

Excellent candidates interested in all aspects of the science of light (topics include biophotonics, quantum technologies, nonlinear optics, machine learning and more) are encouraged to apply. The programme is offered in English and is open to students with BSc or MSc degrees.

Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a one-page statement of purpose, official university grades, and proof of English proficiency. Applicants should also arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent directly to imprs@mpl.mpg.de.

Applications should be received by January 10^th, 2022.
