My research can be divided basically into two categories:
1) Quantum many-body physics, especially in Floquet systems (periodically driven systems). Hamiltonians which are inaccessible in static systems can be engineered in periodically driven many-body systems. Therefore, it is possible to engineer new physics and novel phases in periodically driven systems. The recent interesting topics include the so-called Floquet time crystals and phase space crystals.
2) Quantum technologies, e.g., quantum simulations and quantum computing, based on ion traps, cold atoms, superconducting circuits. I am interested and investigating theoretical problems with the advances of technologies, for example, the ultra-strong and deep strong coupling regime between light and matters, the time delay and memory effects (namely, non-Markovian effects) in quantum systems.
