Abstract:

After graduating from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, Dr. Florian Ströhl continued his academic career with a doctorate in biotechnology at the University of Cambrigde, UK. He joined the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø to continue research in the field of microscopy where he became a project leader in 2021 working on several topics including light-sheet microscopy and its combination with multifocus approaches, and deep-UV microscopy for label-free high resolution imaging. The talk “Microscopy with a tilt” will focus on 3D imaging approaches and their applications.
