Autumn Academy 2019
Our 10th IMPRS Annual Meeting and 6th MPL Autumn Academy will be from October 7th to 11th, 2019 in Hersbruck (near Erlangen).
This year's programme includes talks by IMPRS students, lab tours at MPL, poster sessions, block lectures by Maria Chekhova, Claudiu Genes, Silvia Viola-Kusminskiy and Kanwarpal Singh (all MPL) as well as invited talks by David Miller (Stanford), Cornelia Denz (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität), Thierry Grosjean (CNRS) and Irina Kabakova (UTS, Australia).
If you are interested in the fast moving field of optical science including topics such as quantum information processing, metamaterials, nano-optics, photonic crystal fibres, nonlinear optics and imaging & sensing, then join the autumn academy for BSc and MSc students organized by the International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light.
