Group retreat in the mountains

In October we had the chance to go on a group retreat to Germany’s highest mountain, the Zugspitze! Besides being an absolute unique location, we had a full program around many topics, going from physics including our traditional Brillouin-Quiz to meta-topics like mental load, general lab experiences, equipment, elevator pitches, our group organization structure, research visions, and many more. We ended with a full to-do list for the next months! But we also reserved the evenings for some serious paper plane competitions, expats-about-Germany-presentations and Werwolves sessions! Thanks everyone for their presentations, coaching, organization, involvement and being enthusiastic participants! This will be a to-be-remembered event for the coming years.
