The 6^th international Workshop on Optomechanics and Brillouin-Mandelstam scattering: Fundamentals, Applications and Technology (WOMBAT) took place in Sydney this year, where the workshop series was founded back in 2015. Birgit Stiller participated in the Steering Committee and gave an invited talk on Optoacoustic neural networks and Brillouin strong coupling in waveguides. We also contributed with two posters on these topics respectively. It was a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and network in the Brillouin community!
