Light & Healthy
The Max Planck Society promotes workplace health management (BGM). We work together with a health insurance company to organize the BGM for all employees at the MPL. Take advantage of our wide range of offers, such as events on healthy nutrition or preventive courses to avoid physical and mental illnesses. Take part in our free sports programs, from yoga to aikido. Our table tennis and football teams are always happy to welcome new members.
Please approach us with any questions you may have about the health management initiative or send an email to bgm@mpl.mpg.de.
Reconciling work and family life
Every phase of life brings with it a wide range of diverse needs for employees in the working world. The MPL aims to meet these needs in an individual and appropriate manner. Our wish is that you can successfully reconcile your professional and private lives. That is why the Max Planck Society (MPS) has been a certified member of the “audit berufundfamilie” human resources management program since 2006.
Equal opportunities at MPL
The Max Planck Society and each of its institutes promote employees regardless of gender, nationality, religion, disability, age, cultural background and sexual orientation. Our Equal Opportunities Officer Dr. Flore Kunst and her deputy Anna Gesine Murphy support the institute's management in fulfilling the legal equality mandate.
