IMPRS T-Skill Course

Creating Posters – Appealing, comprehensible, and finished on time

Coach: Dr. Carsten Rohr (kindly supported by PLANCK ACADEMY)

On October 15th, all IMPRS students were offered a transferable skill course about the creation of posters. In the workshop, the invited coach Dr. Carsten Rohr addressed questions of how to create an appealing poster that would make people stop by and how to make complex research comprehensible to an interdisciplinary audience. The students were taught about the planning and structuring of the project, the design and arrangement of poster content and the creation of meaningful graphics. The practical part also included the actual poster presentation, always keeping the fun in mind that such an event should generally involve.

Thank you, Carsten, for all the “tips and tricks” and for sharing your experience with us!
