IMPRS Physics from Light to Life (PLL)
The IMPRS Physics from Light to Life is the Graduate Programme of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL) and the Max-Planck-Zentrum für Physik und Medizin (MPZPM) in Erlangen. It collaborates with the Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and the Universitätsklinikum Erlangen (UKER). IMPRS-PLL offers two tracks: The “physics of light” track that focuses on the research fields physics and engineering as well as the “physics and medicine” track that enables research at the interface of physics and medicine. Both tracks combined ensure an interdisciplinary environment of international excellence.
