  • There are several open positions at the Technical University of Denmark: A Postdoc position in Chalcogenide Fiber Fabrication, a Postdoc position in Fiber Lasers and Supercontinuum Sources and a PhD scholarship in Metasurfaces for Optical Fiber Tips.
  • The Institute of Material Research and Engineering (IMRE) in Singapore is looking for a junior researcher (just after PhD or with a few/several years of post-doc experience) with a strong expertise in nanooptics theory and simulations.   • Postdoc position at the Laboratory Charles Coulomb in Montpellier (France): The "Theory of Light-Matter and Quantum Phenomena" group of Mauro Antezza offers a 2-years postdoc position in a project about Casimir effect and Radiative Heat Transfer with Nanostructured Systems. Find out more
  • Two PhD positions at the Institute of Physics at the University of Graz: Our former group leader Peter Banzer has two open PhD projects, Development of modern laser ultrasound (LUS) metrology using AI based data analytics and modeling approaches and Advanced experimental spectroscopy and manipulation methods based on structured light.   • PhD Fellowships - HYT Young Academy: From 1 October 2021, the HYT Young Academy will award up to five scholarships for doctoral researchers (financial support 1500 EUR per month for up to three years, additional non-material support through an interdisciplinary programme of events) to excellent (prospective) doctoral researchers who are at the beginning of their doctorate. The deadline is on 24 June, 2021, 12:00 (noon). Please find here the call for applications and all further information.
  • Two Postdoctoral positions in theoretical chemical physics in the Mukamel group at University of California Irvine: The research topics are Nonlinear Spectroscopy with Quantum Optical Fields and Ultrafast Nonlinear X-ray Spectroscopy of Molecules. More info.
