Trip to Zeiss

Together with the graduated school of SAOT we organized a field trip to the company Zeiss in Oberkochen in October 2022. 34 PhD students from the Max-Planck-Intitute and master students from the graduated school SAOT, the master program MAOT  and the competence unit engineering of advanced materials were able to get guided tours through the Zeiss museum and the production facilities for semi‑conductor production optics. The visit was complemented by presentations about the daily life of two scientist at Zeiss and their own career start.
