Update: Unfortunately, we had to cancel the symposium completely due to the still ongoing coronavirus restrictions.

The symposium "Light, Lasers and Quanta", scheduled to celebrate our director emeritus Gerd Leuchs' 70th birthday, had to be re-scheduled as a result of the coronavirus emergency. We are now happy to announce that the symposium will take place just before CLEO/Europe, on June 18-19, 2021, at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen. The preliminary plan is to start talks on the morning of Friday 18th and finish late afternoon on Saturday 19th.

Registration deadline is May 7, 2021.
