Every year, the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg awards the Teaching Award for Young Scientists to one person per faculty, in recognition for exceptional teaching performance. This year, our group leader Silvia Viola-Kusminskiy received the 3,000 Euro prize for the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Congratulations!

The award ceremony took place on October 29th under strict corona regulations. The prize was handed in by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger, and the Vice-president for Education, Prof. Dr. Bärbel Kopp.
