Social Program

A visit to the nearby medieval town of Bamberg (UNESCO world heritage site) will be organized on Wednesday afternoon as part of the program for the participants, including a guided tour. Thursday evening there will be a combined poster session and dinner buffet at the Max Planck Institute. As the school ends on Friday in the late afternoon, we anticipate that many participants will want to stay another night before returning home. We recommend visiting the historic city of Nuremberg (20-30 min by train from Erlangen, about 10 EUR return trip).
