About PCF

In this section we review some important basic aspects of PCF, connected to thermal post-processing, the properties of hollow core PCF and how to selectively excite higher order modes. The various techniques for fabricating PCF are described in TDSU Fibre Fabrication & Glass Studio: Fibre drawing.
